Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had some huge shoes to fill when taking over as the team’s starter after Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets. Like Rodgers before him, he was taking over for a Hall of Fame quarterback after sitting for multiple years as a late-round pick.

Unlike Rodgers, who struggled a bit in his first season as a starter, Jordan Love found success. The first half of the season had its bumps in the road, but he took things to another level once the supporting cast around him got healthier and he found his comfort zone.

The Packers ended up going 9-8, earning the last Wild Card spot in the NFC. They steamrolled the Dallas Cowboys during Super Wild Card Weekend, becoming the first team in NFL history to win a playoff game as a No. 7 seed.

Jordan Love was a major reason for that, as the Green Bay Packers look to have a new franchise quarterback. He had nine games with multiple touchdown passes and zero interceptions, picking apart opposing defenses with surprising ease at times.

Heading into the 2023 season, there were a lot of people who weren’t convinced it was the right decision for Green Bay to move on from Rodgers, handing the reins of their offense over to Love. But, he proved those doubters wrong and expectations are now on the rise.

More people are taking notice of Love and the Packers now with how strongly they ended the season. That includes meeting with some legendary players, as he recently met with the legendary Peyton Manning.

Meeting someone of Manning’s stature is something that quarterbacks dream of throughout their life. Jordan Love is now living that out, as any time with the Hall of Fame quarterback to pick his brain is time well spent.
