The Green Bay Packers are getting ready for the 2024 season, and everyone has high hopes for what they can accomplish. On paper, the Packers should be able to contend in the conference and there is a lot of reasons for optimism this season.
Currently, the Green Bay Packers do have the contract situation surrounding Jordan Love as a bit of a distraction, but by all reports, nobody seems to be overly worried about the two sides reaching a deal.
While the contract situation is a cause of concern, Love entering his second season as the starter is also very exciting for the Packers. Recently, Bleacher Report spoke about what is the one thing that should bring the Packers the most optimism, they said it was Jordan Love taking the next step forward.
“Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love looked like a future superstar during his first full season as a starter. While it took him three years to take over under center, his numbers last year rivaled the NFL’s best. On paper, Green Bay checks all the boxes on offense. Headlined by Love under center, the Packers should once again sit among the NFL’s best in points per game.”
Love certainly appears primed to take a step forward for the Packers, as after a great first season as a starter, logically he will improve in year two. In addition to Love getting better, he also has a young core around him that should be improving as well.
It is not an easy thing to win a road playoff game as essentially a rookie quarterback and Love did just that when he beat up the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs last season. For Love, the sky is really the limit it appears and Green Bay Packers fans should be very excited about what he might accomplish in 2024.
