The Green Bay Packers announced that they have signed 14 players to futures deals just one day after their heartbreaking playoff loss to to the San Francisco 49ers.

Among the signings are the following players:

LB Keyshawn Banks, S Tyler Coyle, WR Grant DuBose, DL Jonathan Ford, CB Zyon Gilbert, CB Anthony Johnson, QB Alex McGough, RB Ellis Merriweather, LB Arron Mosby, LB Kenneth Odumegwu, FB Henry Pearson, WR Thyrick Pitts, T Kadeem Telfort, TE Joel Wilson.

Needless to say, the Packers are not wasting time getting busy with the offseason. The loss was brutal, but they believe they have a very bright future ahead of them.

It will be interesting to see what kind of offseason the Packers are able to put together. Jordan Love will likely be getting a massive contract extension, but Green Bay still needs to add talent.

On the defensive side of the ball, they need to add a cornerback or two. They may also look to upgrade the safety position.

Offensively, the Packers have some big decisions, especially the future of running backs AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones. They don’t need a wide receiver for the first time in awhile. However, the offensive line might be a position to shore up a bit.

All of that being said, Brian Gutekunst and the front office have some decisions to make. They have quite a few contracts to decide on and need to upgrade the roster. It should be a fun offseason for the Packers.
