With the 25th pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers could be poised to select Cooper DeJean, according to the latest mock draft from Pro Football Network.

DeJean, who has most recently showcased his skills as a cornerback for the Iowa Hawkeyes, is anticipated to make an immediate impact at the professional level.

However, what sets DeJean apart is his versatility. In addition to his proficiency as a cornerback, he possesses the capability to handle safety responsibilities, making him a valuable asset for the Packers.

His intriguing combination of range, fluid athleticism, playmaking ability, and astute route recognition makes him a promising prospect who could significantly bolster Green Bay’s defensive performance.

During the 2023 college football season with the Hawkeyes, DeJean put together a big-time year. He ended up recording 41 total tackles to go along with two interceptions and five defended passes.

Standing in at 6-foot-1 and a shade over 200 pounds, he has the size to battle receivers around the NFL. He would also be given an opportunity to learn from Jaire Alexander, which is a great opportunity for any young cornerback.

Mark your calendars for the 2024 NFL Draft, scheduled to kick off on April 25th and conclude on April 27th. With a total of eight picks at their disposal, the Green Bay Packers are gearing up for what promises to be a hectic and crucial event in their pursuit of strengthening the team.
