The Green Bay Packers upgraded receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder/foot) to limited participation Wednesday. He is one of four Packers listed as questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Defensive tackles Devonte Wyatt (ankle) and Anthony Campbell (ankle) carry the same designation, as does edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr. (quadricep). Because of the short week, the Packers held walkthroughs instead of practices and filed estimated participation reports Monday through Wednesday.

Green Bay ruled out linebacker Zaire Franklin (shin), guard/tackle Travis Glover (knee) and center Sean Rhyan (ankle).

Golden was estimated as a non-participant Monday and Tuesday. The foot injury is new this week. The shoulder had already put him on the injury report before Sunday’s game at Ford Field.

Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Golden was shaken up against the Detroit Lions and left the field for one play before finishing the game. He caught six passes for 39 yards in the 20-17 loss, which dropped Green Bay to 4-3.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that the team was “still kind of working through it” with Golden.

“I sure hope so,” LaFleur said. “We will have a short indy [Wednesday] to move guys around to see how they look, but certainly hopeful for him.”

Through seven games, Golden has 36 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers selected him No. 23 overall out of Texas in 2025, and he caught 29 passes for 361 yards in 14 games as a rookie.

Christian Watson, Savion Williams, Bo Melton, J. Michael Sturdivant and Coleman Owen are the other receivers on the active roster. Green Bay signed Owen to the 53-man roster Saturday. Jayden Reed and Skyy Moore are on injured reserve.

Yates reported that Wyatt left the first half in Detroit with the ankle injury and returned for the second half. Wyatt did not participate Monday and was limited Tuesday. Campbell followed the same path after recording the first sack of his career against the Lions.

Cox was added to Tuesday’s report as limited with the quadricep injury, two days after recovering the first fumble of his career against Detroit.

Behind Wyatt and Campbell, Karl Brooks, Jordon Riley and rookie Chris McClellan are the other defensive tackles on the active roster. Javon Hargrave, Warren Brinson and Jonathan Ford are on injured reserve. Lukas Van Ness, Barryn Sorrell and rookie Dani Dennis-Sutton fill out the edge group, and Micah Parsons remains on reserve/physically unable to perform.

The Panthers’ final report of the week ruled out four players: outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips (hamstring), left guard Damien Lewis (knee), cornerback Akayleb Evans (triceps/knee) and offensive lineman Torricelli Simpkins III (ankle).

The Panthers are 3-3 after a 43-13 home loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. CT Thursday at Lambeau Field on Prime Video.
