For all we know, the game against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship at Lambeau Field was the tipping point for Aaron Rodgers in his situation with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers has made it clear that he no longer wants to play for the organization and that the relationship seems beyond repair at this time.

Rodgers has a right to feel the way he does, as he watched the team draft his eventual successor without any heads up despite his wishes of having more weapons to throw the ball to.

You know he’d love to be in a situation similar to Brady, where he had three legit No. 1 options at wide receiver in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, not to mention arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history in Rob Gronkowski. What quarterback wouldn’t?

The news involving Rodgers and the Packers is the talk of the football world and with good reason. If a player of Rodgers caliber is going to be on the move, the whole landscape of the league will change as the team acquiring him would become an instant contender.

Tom Brady recently talked about and shared some opinion about the situation going down with Rodgers and the Packers.

“I’m not one to give Aaron advice on certain things like that,” Brady said, per The Spun. “I mean, I respect Aaron a lot. Aaron’s going to make the choices he feels are best for him. Everyone has different dynamics in their work. Everyone else has different choices. But I have a lot of respect for Aaron and everything he’s accomplished in the league.”

That is a professional response by Brady, as he may have a relationship with Rodgers but unless you are in the room with everyone, you will never know the whole story. He is probably hopeful that Rodgers gets traded, maybe to a team such as the Denver Broncos, so that he won’t have to face off with him as many times on his road to the Super Bowl in the NFC.

Hopefully, this is a situation that is resolved sooner than later for both the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. The NFL is a better product with players like Rodgers on the field.
