2. Packers’ Offensive Line Lives Up To Hype

The biggest advantage that the Packers had coming into the game against the Bears was in the trenches. Their offensive line is the most experienced and arguably best unit on the team. In Week 1, they lived up to the billing.

Green Bay was able to protect Jordan Love throughout the afternoon, which enabled him to make some big plays in the passing game. Only one sack was allowed, but it was during an off-schedule play.

There is still some work to be done in the running game, but protecting Love is the team’s No. 1 concern. If they play at this level throughout the season, this offense is going to produce some impressive numbers.

1. Jordan Love Shines

Making his second career start, Love shined against the Bears. The moment never looked too big for him as the poise and calmness he showcased during training camp and the preseason carried right over to the regular season.

His accuracy was shaky at times, but when the Packers needed him to make a play the most, he stepped up. His performance on third and fourth down fueled the team, regularly keeping drives alive to put them in position to score points.

On the day, Love completed 15-of-27 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns. He didn’t commit a turnover, registering a QBR of 73.4 and a quarterback rating of 123.2. It was an encouraging performance as doubters are getting quieter and quieter each time he takes the field.
