In a recent all-decade mock draft, Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers was chosen as the best 26th pick in the last decade.
In a fun all-decade mock draft done by Pro Football Focus, they ranked all of the players selected in the last decade in their draft positions. The Green Bay Packers were fortunate enough to have a few players make it, one of which was Jordan Love.
Seeing Love make the list after just one season as a starting quarterback in the league not only shows how good of a first season it was but also the value of having a good quarterback in the NFL.
Love was selected at No. 26 overall in 2020, and here’s what PFF had to say about the pick.
Calvin Ridley and Montez Sweat are solid options, but Love’s current peak trumps each of their longer periods of success.
Love’s first season as a starter propelled him into being one of the highest-ranked quarterbacks in the entire league. The future is very bright for Love, but he will have to replicate that success in the coming seasons.
While looking at the list, there are some big names on there like the Bosa brothers and Myles Garrett who just edged out Joe Burrow. Also rounding out the top five was Sauce Gardner and Jalen Ramsey, as defense shined early on.
For the Green Bay Packers, having players like Jordan Love make the list shows how well the front office has been drafting over the years. Hopefully, Love will continue to make this list, as it will indicate that he is having a successful career in the NFL.
