As the Green Bay Packers prepare for the 2024 season, Jordan Love recently received high praise for one of his new teammates, running back Josh Jacobs.

One of the biggest moves of the offseason for the Green Bay Packers was the signing of Josh Jacobs from the Las Vegas Raiders. The Packers decided to move on from Aaron Jones after a few solid seasons with the team in favor of Jacobs.

With the Raiders, Josh Jacobs has become one of the better running backs in the league during that time. In five seasons with Las Vegas, Jacobs totaled 5,545 rushing yards, 46 rushing touchdowns, and a solid 4.2 yards per carry average. As a receiver, Jacobs was also solid for the Raiders, as he totaled 1,448 receiving yards and 197 receptions.

Recently, Jordan Love spoke about his new teammate and had nothing but good things to say.

Jacobs fitting in and getting along with the guys already is a perfect sign, as this is a young Packers team that has a ton of potential this season. Jacobs is going to be asked to be a big part of the offense like he was with the Raiders, as both a runner and receiver.

For Jacobs, the Packers present him with the opportunity to once again play some playoff football. With the Raiders, Josh Jacobs only played in one playoff game back in 2021. The Raiders are in the midst of a rebuild and likely will be staring up at the Kansas City Chiefs in the division for as long as Patrick Mahomes is there.

Now, Jacobs will get a chance to show what he can do on a winning team. As one of the more talented backs in the league, it will be fun to see what the Green Bay Packers, Jordan Love and Jacobs can accomplish together, as the team looks to be a Super Bowl contender.
