Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander has cemented his status as one of the best players in the NFL at his position. He has been recognized as such throughout the offseason, landing on multiple player ranking lists and positional rankings.

Jaire Alexander found himself in the top 10 of the cornerback rankings put together by executives, coaches and scouts around the league. Over at PFF, they released their top 50 player rankings ahead of the 2023 season, ranking 28th overall and as the No. 4 cornerback.

Most recently, the 2018 first-round pick found himself on the Top 100 of NFL.com. Jaire Alexander came in at No. 26 on this year’s edition of the rankings, a nice jump up from the 2022 one.

Last year, the Louisville product didn’t make the list as he appeared in only four games during the 2021 season. Heading into that year he came in at No. 41 on the top-100 list, which was the first year in which he was selected.

Jaire Alexander certainly earned the lofty spot in the 2023 rankings with his performance in 2022. He had a career-high five interceptions to go along with 14 passes defended. He rounded out his stat line with 56 total tackles and four tackles for loss.

That production was enough for Jaire Alexander to make his second Pro Bowl team and earned his second All-Pro Second Team spot of his career. If the Packers are going to find success during the 2023 season, they are going to need him to replicate the production he has provided the last two seasons.

According to PFF, Jaire Alexander is the highest-graded cornerback in single coverage the last two seasons. That has made defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s job much easier knowing one side of the field is locked down at all times.

He is the second Packers player to make the NFL Network top-100 this year. The other was running back Aaron Jones, who came in at No. 64.
