Packers Jordan Love Named A Top QB To Change Teams After 2024

Jordan Love, Packers

In the NFL, finding a franchise quarterback is the hardest thing to accomplish. For the Green Bay Packers, holding on to Jordan Love has to be priority No.1.

The Green Bay Packers have been one of the best teams in the entire NFL at grooming quarterbacks. For the last three decades, they have had great players under center running their offense. From Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers, to now Jordan Love, quarterback play has always been top-notch.

With a good quarterback in the NFL, a team is always in the mix, and that is one of the reasons why the Packers have had sustained success. While it looks like Love could be the next great quarterback for the Packers, he isn’t locked up long-term despite only starting in one season for the Packers.

Recently, Bleacher Report spoke about quarterbacks who could be on a different team soon. Unfortunately for the Packers, Love made their list. Here’s what they had to say.

Love isn’t likely going anywhere anytime soon, but until he signs an extension he’s included here. That’s because the 25-year-old breakout star from 2023 is entering a walk year, and it’s important to keep in mind that he’s only shined for a single half-season stretch in his four-year career.

As stated by Bleacher Report, Love shouldn’t be going anywhere as long as he continues to play well. In 2024, Love looks like he is poised to become a star in the league. If that happens and he continues his strong finish to 2023, he is going to be getting a massive contract.

When it comes to negotiating a massive contract extension, things could get messy as we recently saw with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. If Jordan Love has another good season, the Green Bay Packers will have to open up their wallets for him and that could take some time. Luckily, the Packers can keep Love around and if he emerges as an MVP candidate, they must do what it takes.
