Last season, one area of weakness for the Packers was their pass rush. When Rashan Gary went down with an injury, they struggled to get after the quarterback. This season, the pass rush looks like a strength.
The Packers saw a huge improvement from second-year edge rusher JJ Enagbare this offseason. Couple that with veteran holdovers Preston Smith and Justin Hollins and the additions of first-round pick Lukas Van Ness and undrafted free agent Brenton Cox Jr. and this is a group that can get after you.
Putting pressure on Fields is the best way to knock him off of his game. The Packers will get home numerous times, recording at least three sacks in the game. They will also record at least one interception for a big afternoon.
1. Packers Win Hard-Fought Game
Divisional games always seem to have a little more physicality in the NFL. When you are as big of rivals as the Packers and Bears are, you can count on a hard-fought game being on the horizon.
Oddsmakers are predicting that much as this game has the closest spread of the week. The Bears are razor-thin one-point favorites. A low-scoring, slugfest could be on the horizon, which the Packers will come out ahead of.
Green Bay will win the game 20-17, as Love will get his first career win and take over ownership of Chicago from Rodgers. LaFleur will continue his undefeated streak against the Bears, moving to 9-0.
