With the 2021 NFL season right around the corner, the Green Bay Packers are one of the teams with the most concerning questions to answer. Mainly, there is one question that needs to be answered. Will Aaron Rodgers play this season or will he follow through on the reports that he never wants to play another down for the Packers?

Only time will tell what the outcome of that situation will be. For now, we can only focus on the upcoming season.

If Rodgers does play, the Packers will once again be a top contender in the NFC. Many will even view them as a Super Bowl favorite. They have a talented all-around roster and stars in most position groups.

Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay offense was firing on all cylinders last season. That led to Rodgers winning the MVP award and Davante Adams moving his way up to arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL. Things looked great until the bombshell report that Rodgers wanted out.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for the Packers’ offensive unit in 2021.

4. Robert Tonyan Is A Top-Three NFL Tight End

Let’s start with one of the more pleasant surprises from last season. The Packers have been searching for an answer at the tight end position over the last few years and Robert Tonyan gave them an answer. He ended up catching 52 passes for 586 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2020 season.

Tonyan stands in at 6-foot-5 and just shy of 240 pounds. He has great speed and athleticism and an excellent pair of hands. Very few defenses have an answer for him.

This year, the Packers are going to see Tonyan take his game to a new level. He will not only improve his numbers, but will end the season as a top-three producing tight end. Green Bay should be excited about their new lethal weapon at the tight end position.

3. AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones Are A Two-Man Wrecking Crew

One of the most disappointing parts of the NFL offseason was the departure of Jamaal Williams to the Detroit Lions. Not only did the Packers lose a fan favorite, they lost him a division rival.

However, the Packers are excited about their new one-two punch in the backfield. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are going to wreak havoc on opposing defenses as a thunder and lightning combination. Dillon is a bowling ball with the football, while Jones can break a massive play for a touchdown anytime he touches the football.

Both running backs are going to be productive and they will help keep each fresh in 2021. For the fans who are still upset that the Packers chose a running back in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, those complaints will be silenced this season.

2. Green Bay Ends The Season As A Top Two Offense

Even though the offseason has been full of drama, no one should be questioning the power of the Packers’ offense. They have stars at every position and are going to be one of the most dangerous offensive units in the NFL.

Adams has developed into being arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, Jones is rising up the star rankings himself, and the offensive line is full of talent. Assuming David Bakhtiari can come back healthy this season, the Packers are going to be nearly unstoppable. They have the entire package on the offensive side of the ball.

When everything is said and done this year, the Packers will finish as a top-two offensive team in the league. Who will beat them out? We are predicting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will lead the league in offense.

1. Aaron Rodgers Will Return And Play The Whole Season

Finally, what list of bold predictions for the Packers’ offense would be complete without something on the situation between the Packers and Rodgers? Quite simply, all of the reports this offseason should be taken with a grain of salt. Rodgers and Green Bay will figure things out and he will be back by Week 1.

Jordan Love getting reps this offseason is a good thing for the Packers’ future. Giving him reps while repairing the relationship with Rodgers is a win-win scenario for Green Bay.

Rodgers will be back and will play the entire season for the Packers. His future will still remain relatively unclear, but the fans will get to see No. 12 back on the field in the green and gold. It’s time to stop worrying Packers fans and it’s time to get excited for the 2021 NFL season.
