The Green Bay Packers offense is a mystery for a lot of people heading into the 2023 season. Jordan Love is taking over as the starting quarterback and he is surrounded by one of the youngest group of pass catchers in NFL history.

To take pressure off of him until he gets more comfortable under center, it would behoove the Packers to lean heavily on their running game. Luckily for Green Bay, they have one of the best running back tandems in the NFL to rely on.

Aaron Jones and AJ Dillons are going to be heavily involved in the offense all season. They have proven to be a very productive duo during their time together and more of the same is expected in 2023.

Jones, who is one of the most talented players in the NFL coming in at No. 64 on the NFL Network Top 100, is a true dual-threat out of the backfield. He is as dangerous with the ball in his hands as a ball carrier as he is being split out as a pass catcher.

In 2022, Jones had his career-high in rushing yards with 1,121. He added 59 receptions for 395 yards, scoring seven total touchdowns. In 2023, he has his sights set on even more production, setting a lofty goal for himself.

Jones wants to cement his status as one of the best running backs and players in the NFL, “whether that be leading the league in touchdowns or yards per carry or yards.” That is something that Fantasy Football managers would certainly lose to see, especially after last season when Jones had only two rushing touchdowns.

He believes that he will have some positive regression to the mean in 2023 and is looking forward to seeing how Matt LaFleur deploys him. While Jones hasn’t been told anything specific about how he will be used in the offense, he said, “I hope he’s looking at creative ways to use me. I love to get the ball in space.”
