Aaron Rodgers has stirred up quite a bit of drama this offseason with his desire to leave the Green Bay Packers. Despite the reports that he never wants to play another down for the franchise, the Packers have remained steadfast in their desire to keep him around. Now, the fans and even members of the Packers are confused as to what to expect for Week 1.

Will the Packers have their reigning MVP quarterback and once again be a Super Bowl contender? Or will they be starting second-year quarterback Jordan Love under center?

One former NFL general manager came out with a bombshell and stated boldly that Rodgers is “selfish” and that he is disliked by his teammates.

This is a very intriguing bit of news, as many have sided with Aaron Rodgers in his frustration with the Packers. If this report is indeed true, that changes things a bit.

However, even though this report has been made, there are a couple of teammates who have stated the exact opposite. Davante Adams, the Packers’ superstar wideout and arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, has publicly voiced his support for Rodgers. Former teammate and current NFL media analyst James Jones has also opened up about his great relationship with Rodgers.

Last season with the Packers, Rodgers put up massive numbers on his way to the MVP award. He completed 70.7 percent of his pass attempts for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Rodgers also picked up 149 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Only time will tell what the outcome of this situation will be. We may have to wait until late in training camp to find out whether or not Rodgers will be the Packers’ starting quarterback in 2021. Either way, every report on this situation has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Expect to continue hearing a ton of news and rumors coming out of Green Bay surrounding Aaron Rodgers. It is the most watched situation in the NFL right now and that isn’t going to change until we have more clarity.
